Kualifikasi
- Open for placement in Bandung
- Bachelor's or Master's of Science Degree
- Minimum of 4+ years or comparable test engineering related experience
- Familiarity with production test processes and systems
- Skilled in test yield analysis and fault resolution utilizing root cause/corrective action techniques
- Prior success leading teams and managing projects
- Demonstrated effectiveness interfacing with internal and external customers in resolving resource, programmatic, and technical issues
Jobdesk
Bukalapak is currently working remotely due to COVID-19. So, this role doesn’t require you to move at the time being.
Owning Test Engineers deliveries including test planning, estimation, reporting, managing start to end test life cycle with the ongoing development sprints as well as provide optimum test solutions and strategies for Bukalapak through the effective management of people, systems, procedures and equipment to ensure the quality and functionality of a product.
- Evaluate test strategies of products/features and recommend appropriate test solutions to support Bukalapak’s business needs
- Determine the distribution of targets for the team and monitor their performance to ensure the achievement of targets
- Plan and develop test automation frameworks as well as the end-to-end test cycles including Sprints, SIT's and UAT
- Plan and develop test automation frameworks, build and deliver technological innovation around test validation framework, test model generation framework, telemetry monitoring framework, release quality framework
- Design and build automation test processes and prioritizing project tasks by conducting impact analysis to the team

- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent professional experience in software development.

Jobdesk
As a Software Engineer in Backend, your primary role is in designing and developing high-quality backend services and APIs, with specific emphasis on long-term maintainability, resilience against failures, and high scalability. You are going to write codes that integrate with various other systems, both within our platform as well as those made by third-party partners.
Together with other engineers within your team, you are fully empowered to own the systems within your area of responsibility in production. From self-deployments to adding real-time metrics and automated alerts, you aim to understand the behavior and heartbeat of your systems in production.
About Your Responsibilities for the Role
- Design, develop, improve, and deploy high quality backend services and APIs.
- Write unit tests to ensure safety net of regression tests for effective refactoring.
- Within a cross-functional team, collaborate with other engineers specializing in backend services, web frontend, mobile apps, and test automation, as well as product design and ideation.
- Apply design patterns and design principles to produce maintainable and easy to extend code.
- Learn multiple tech stacks to use the best tools for the job.
