IKEA merupakan sebuah peritel perabot untuk rumah tangga dari Swedia. Pada musim dingin 2004, terdapat 364 toko IKEA di 46 negara di berbagai belahan dunia. Katalog IKEA yang berisi info produk IKEA diperkirakan adalah buku yang pendistribusiannya kedua terluas setelah Alkitab dan biasanya diperbaharui tiap Agustus.

Pada tanggal 15 Oktober 2014, Hero Supermarket, pemegang lisensi IKEA di Indonesia telah membuka gerai pertama IKEA di Alam Sutera, Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia. IKEA Alam Sutera merupakan toko ke-364 dan yang paling baru dari 46 negara di dunia.

Gerai ini merupakan satu-satunya gerai IKEA di Indonesia, dan juga terdapat Distribution Point IKEA di seluruh Indonesia. IKEA juga sudah menjalin kerja sama dengan industri lokal di Solo, Jawa Tengah dengan mengambil bahan baku dan pengrajin di Solo dan Yogyakarta. Produk-produk lokal tersebut akan dipasarkan IKEA ke pasar internasional.

Visi dan ide bisnis IKEA: "Menciptakan kehidupan sehari-hari yang lebih baik bagi banyak orang", ini adalah visi IKEA. Ide bisnis IKEA adalah "menawarkan berbagai rancangan yang didesain dengan baik, produk perabotan rumah yang fungsional dengan harga yang sangat rendah sehingga sebanyak mungkin orang akan mampu membelinya".

IKEA bekerja keras untuk mencapai kualitas dengan harga terjangkau bagi pelanggan IKEA dengan memaksimalkan seluruh rangkaian nilai IKEA, dengan membangun hubungan kerjasama pemasok dalam jangka panjang, investasi dalam produksi secara otomatis dan memproduksi dalam jumlah besar. 1. Customer Fulfilment Unit Operation Support Co-worker
(CFU/Customer Fulfilment Unit)

Kualifikasi

  1. Experience of working in a high volume and fast-paced retail environment. Preferably experienced in retail and/or logistics processes, tools, and working methods. Problem solving experience.
  2. Good communication skills (both spoken and written). Good personal discipline and good attention to detail.
  3. You have the ability to work a mix of day and work individually or in a team.

2. E-commerce Business Process Specialist
(Service Office/E-commerce)

Kualifikasi

  • Have a good retail experience in commercial and customer focus. Passionate about doing the best for customers in order to grow the long term profitability of the IKEA business.
  • Knowledge in IT Systems and key principles of an e-commerce that related with order process. Including an understanding of all customer order systems.
  • Good interpretation of data analytics and reporting of online sales and its variables, providing support for business decisions

3. E-commerce Interior Designer
(Service Office/E-commerce)

Kualifikasi

  • Have a good retail experience in commercial and customer focus. Passionate about retailing, E-commerce industry and capable of contributing to the unit with commercial expertise.
  • Experience and understand in interior design, e-commerce or similar. Extensive knowledge of interior design and inspirations.
  • Understand life at home in the local market and the outcome or market research.
  • Have ability to gain energy through seeing the impact of your work translated into commercial results.

4. Shop Design Specialist

(Service Office/Country Communication & Interior Design)

Kualifikasi

  1. Understand life at home in the local market and the outcome of market research, and having knowledge of interior design, graphic design, visual merchandising and store planning.
  2. Ability to understand customer needs. Broad knowledge of trends that influence home furnishing, retail design and communication to gain insight.
  3. Knowledge in the Retail Establishment Process. You have the ability to apply new methods, digital systems and processes.
  4. Understand the complexity of IKEA business and the different functions as an integrated part of the business.
  5. Apply analytical and critical thinking to the process, being able to plan and maintain the work process.

5. Country Shopping Experience Leader
(Service Office/Customer Relations)

Kualifikasi

  1. Sound understanding of business and a background gained from working in a customer-focused, fast-paced and multichannel retail environment. Experienced in creating and implementing mid-term plans and following up goals.
  2. Self-confident and assertive with the ability to influence through the use of customer insight. Proven record/experience of developing people and organizations.
  3. Good analytical and numerical skills. Ability to set clear expectations and directions.
  4. Be passionate about customers and act to ensure a positive shopping experience. Experience of working in a customer service management role within retail business.

6. Service Portfolio Manager
(Service Office/Customer Relations)

Kualifikasi

  1. Sound understanding of business and a background gained from working in a customer-focused, fast-paced and multichannel retail environment. Experienced in creating and implementing mid-term plans and following up goals.
  2. Self-confident and assertive with the ability to influence through the use of customer insight. Proven record/experience of developing people and organizations.
  3. Good analytical and numerical skills. Ability to set clear expectations and directions.
  4. Interest in what is happening within the market, both locally and globally.
  5. Passion in interacting with people and have a holistic approach with the ability to work both at strategic and tactical levels.

7. Sales Expansion Coordinator
(Service Office/Sales)

Kualifikasi

  1. Experience of working in a customer-oriented (service or retail) industry including experience of leading and managing a team on a customer-oriented service.
  2. Ability to develop business plans using knowledge of customer behaviour.
  3. Experience of setting and implementing action plans, setting budgets and following up goals.
  4. Experience of selling gained in the retail industry. Including taking commercial decisions based on national market information.

8. Web Editor
(Service Office/Marketing)

Kualifikasi

  1. Passionate and knowledge about the retailing industry. Have interest in home furnishing and the ability to identify the value of IKEA.
  2. Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 and also understand cross-browser compatibility issues.
  3. Having a good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates and AJAX.
  4. Basic knowledge of UI/UX, image authoring tools, SEO principles, paid marketing and tags implementation on website.

9. Bali Service Point Manager
(Service Office/E-commerce)

Kualifikasi

  1. Experience of working in a customer-oriented (service or retail) industry including experience of leading and managing a team on a customer-oriented service.
  2. Understanding of e-commerce and an omni-channel environment.
  3. Proven record of consistently meeting agreed budgets and goals, and working on plans over a number of years.
  4. Ability to make decisions under pressure and time circumstances: strong communication skills and operational skills.

10. Home Furnishing & Interior Design Specialist
(Service Office/E-Commerce)

Kualifikasi

  1. Ability to design and sell complete home solutions and services and to work cross over functions (Sales and CR and IB).
  2. Interior design or similar background.
  3. Good communication and presentation skills.
  4. Understand and always up to date for interior design and trends that influence home furnishing and life at home.
  5. Understand life at home in the local market and the outcome of market, e.g. IKEA Customer Satisfaction survey, IKEA Brand Capital home visits and how to utilize the insights to create inspiring commercial solutions.

11. Sales Support
(Service Office/Sales)

Kualifikasi

  1. Experience of working in a customer-oriented (service or retail) industry and the ability to understand customer needs.
  2. Enjoy working in a fast paced and future oriented environment.
  3. Ability to using technology and able to learn and use the system.
  4. Proven ability to build and maintain an effective network.
  5. Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly with English both verbal and writing.

12. Sales Commercial Activity Leader
(Service Office/Sales)

Kualifikasi

  1. Experience of working in a customer-oriented (service or retail) industry including experience of leading and managing a team on a customer-oriented service.
  2. Ability to develop business plans using knowledge of customer behaviour.
